THE 25 PLUS ONE REUNION - SEPT 8, 2001

The Reunion

The five of us stumbled across each other on Classmates.com in the summer of 2000,  (Isn't the internet great!) and realized that no one was planning a 25 year reunion for us.  Since I had missed out on the 20 year, I was especially anxious for a 25 year.  We decided to be unconventional and plan a reunion for the following year, calling it our "25 + 1" reunion.

On September 8, 2001, we had our "25 Plus One Reunion". It was held at the beautiful Huntington Harbor Bay Club on a balmy summer’s evening by the marina. We had a fantastic time renewing old friendships and trying to remember names. We had a fabulous 3 course dinner, a slide show presentation of "Mariners through the Years", then danced the night away to 70's tunes. The room was festively decorated in our school colors of blue, black and white and there was lots of memorabilia to look at and talk about. 

The Reunion Committee was:

Kim Carringer-Milot, Julie Ello-Crippen, Gayle Koustik-Shanks, Wendy Spellings-Gubman, and myself, Debbie Williams-Hansen.   We were a great team together and I hope they will all be helping again with the 30 year.
